"Anytime is a Good Time to go Fishing"

The flats fishing on the south side of Crooked Island has the friendliest bonefish found anywhere. By limiting our operation to six boats per week, we ensure this quality of fishing is preserved for many years to come. The average bonefish is around three to four pounds, 10 pounders are not uncommon and last season dozens of these were caught. We are not a tarpon destination, but good numbers are being jumped and landed in late spring and summer. Sharks and barracudas are abundant on the flats and make for lots of excitement.

Inshore fishing has become one of our guests' favorite pastimes, taking place in water less than one hundred feet. Join us in catching grouper, snapper, hard fighting jacks, mackerel, sharks, and cudas, (mostly done by chumming, which brings the fish right to the angler). Inshore fishing is a productive way for fly fisherman to catch many species of fish that otherwise tend to be elusive. Try this fast paced excursion ... it's sure to become your favorite too. Night fishing trips are available.

Thunderbird Charters invites you to experience the thrill of offshore fishing around Crooked Island. The fishing is incredible. We are fishing in water that few sport fishing boats are touching. Daily catches are often plentiful. Near world record wahoo are being caught regularly. We do it all ... trolling, chumming, live bait, and fly fishing. We are currently putting together a blue water fly fishing program that will round out your fishing experience.
